The KGS has weakened against all the currencies of its main trading partners, with the exception of the dollar

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has published the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the KGS for tomorrow, 28 July. This information is available on the regulator’s website.

The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 87.45 KGS.

Meanwhile, the other major currencies strengthened against the KGS.

The Kazakh tenge showed the greatest appreciation against the KGS, with its official exchange rate rising by 0.76 per cent, from 0.1838 to 0.1852 KGS;

The Russian rouble strengthened against the KGS by 0.61 per cent, to 1.1226 KGS; the euro by 0.16 per cent, to 99.7017 KGS; and the yuan by 0.11 per cent, from 12.9097 to 12.9236 KGS.

Thus, the KGS began the new week by weakening against almost all the currencies of its main partner countries.
