09/04/2026, 14:51The ‘Road Maintenance Organisation No. 9’, part of the Road Administration Department, has announced a tender for the purchase of 1,000 tonnes of technical salt of mineral origin. The planned value of the procurement is 9 million KGS.
According to information on the public procurement portal, the salt in question is crushed salt with a particle size of 0–5 millimetres and an NaCl content of 96.81 per cent. The supplies are intended for sections of the Bishkek–Osh motorway at the 80th, 130th, 160th and 197th kilometres.
The procurement is being conducted via a request for quotations with qualification requirements. Suppliers may submit their bids until 10 September 2026.
One of the requirements for participants is that they must have experience in fulfilling at least two similar contracts with a value not less than that of the tender lot. In addition, the supplier must confirm that they have no outstanding tax or insurance contribution liabilities, provide details of beneficial owners and submit financial statements for 2024 and 2025.
According to the draft contract, the supply price must include all taxes, as well as the costs of transporting and unloading the salt. Payment is to be made in full (100 per cent) upon acceptance of the goods.
However, the tender documentation specifically states that payment will be made as funds become available from the national budget; therefore, delays in payment are possible.
A penalty of 0.1 per cent of the contract sum is payable for each day of delay in delivery. The maximum amount of such a penalty is set at 2 per cent of the contract value.
Deliveries must be made in accordance with the approved schedule to sections of the Bishkek–Osh road. Specifically, the 80th kilometre is located near the village of Sosnovka, the 130th kilometre at the Too-Ashuu Pass, the 160th kilometre in the Suusamyr Valley, and the 197th kilometre on the Otmok section, at the junction where the road branches off towards Talas.
