In a single day, an investor purchased 2 million of the bank’s bonds, each with a face value of 1,000 KGS. The transaction accounted for virtually the entire volume of trading in secondary and primary securities, which totalled 2 billion 33 million KGS.
Dos-Kredobank’s bonds have the trading symbol DKRBb3 and ISIN KG0203085814. At the close of trading, the price per bond stood at 1,000 KGS. The transaction was completed in a single trade.
Subordinated bonds are instruments that banks can use to build up additional capital. However, the bond transaction itself does not automatically result in an increase in the bank’s authorised capital.
