11/21/2025, 15:21Construction has begun on a new school named after M. Barpiev in the village of Zhylygyn, Aksysky District, designed for 225 students.
The project is financed from the republican budget. The three-storey building will include classrooms, a laboratory, a library, a doctor's office and vocational training rooms for boys and girls. Work is currently underway on the construction of the second floor.
The existing school, built in 2012 from lightweight structures with a 12-year lifespan, currently has 368 pupils, which exceeds its design capacity. The new school will create comfortable learning conditions and expand educational opportunities for local children.
