The EAEU is still the main revenue source from import customs duties for the Kyrgyz Republic

In January-April this year, the Kyrgyz budget received 18 billion 84 million 813.6 thousand KGS in the import customs duties form, most provided by its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to available data, import customs duties from EAEU member states totalled 17 billion 653 million 967.1 thousand KGS.

Among these contributions, Russia was the main source, replenishing Kyrgyzstan's budget by 14.5 billion KGS. It is followed by Kazakhstan and Belarus with contributions of 1.9 billion KGS and 855.1 million KGS, respectively.

EEC has approved the zeroing of import duties on viscose fibres for three years
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to zero import duty on man-made viscose fibres that have not undergone carding or combing for three years. It will now be 0% of the customs value of these goods.
