12/18/2024, 10:44The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), in collaboration with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), has prepared a recommendation as part of the Strategy-2025. This recommendation aims to advance economic cooperation among member states by ensuring access to modern achievements in the healthcare sector.
The document outlines three key areas of collaboration: the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) and telemedicine, the provision of high-tech medical care, and cooperation in the standardization of medical technologies. This cooperation will be pursued based on the mutual interests of member states.
"Implementing the proposed initiatives will help make modern medical technologies and high-tech healthcare services accessible to the Union's citizens," stated Bakyt Sultanov,
Minister for Economics and Financial Policy of the EEC. The approved document advises exploring advanced practices in telemedicine services, developing approaches for organizing remote interactions in providing cross-border medical care to citizens, including the use of ICT, and formulating proposals in these areas, among other initiatives. "Implementing the proposed initiatives will help make modern medical technologies and high-tech healthcare services accessible to the Union's citizens," reiterated Minister Bakyt Sultanov.
