01/28/2026, 10:20The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has updated the list of standards containing research methods for technical regulations on liquefied hydrocarbon gases used as fuel. The key change is the extension of the application period for national standards until 1 January 2035.
The new version of the list includes 26 standards, of which 13 are intergovernmental, one is a Belarusian state standard, eight are Kazakhstani national standards, and four are Russian Federation national standards. For some of the standards that are being replaced by new versions of GOST, a transition period has been set until 1 July 2030.
The EEC explained that the extension of the deadlines will reduce the burden on businesses during the transition to interstate standards. Companies will be able to continue using their existing fleet of specialised measuring instruments without the need for urgent equipment upgrades.
The decision was made taking into account the implementation of the programme for the development of interstate standards and is aimed at maintaining the current evidence base of technical regulations.
The document will come into force 180 calendar days after the date of its official publication.
