Kyrgyzstan’s economy grew by 11.9 per cent in the first half of 2026

According to preliminary estimates, Kyrgyzstan’s GDP for the period January–June 2026 stood at 960 billion KGS. Compared with the same period last year, the economy grew by 11.9 per cent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, the main contributors to economic growth were the services, construction and manufacturing sectors. Positive trends were also observed in agriculture.

By way of comparison, in the first half of 2025, the size of the economy was lower, and the growth rate stood at less than 12 per cent.
