    The III Eurasian Economic Forum discussed competition and public procurement in the EAEU

    Achievements and gaps in the field of competition and public procurement in the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the results of the III Eurasian Economic Forum were discussed by Maxim Yermolovich, Minister of Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and Chairman of the EEC Council.

    The parties paid attention to the topical issues raised at the EEF-2024, in particular, regulation of digital platforms, improvement of national and supranational competition law, problems of ensuring seamless mutual participation in public procurement of the EAEU countries, as well as issues raised by the business community within the framework of the public reception room of the Commission's Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation Unit.

    In addition, the parties considered the results of monitoring the legislation of the EAEU countries in the field of public procurement for compliance with the law of the Union, which were the main topic of discussion during the meeting of the Advisory Committee on State (Municipal) Public Procurement, held on September 30 in Yerevan.

    Maxim Yermolovich informed Mr. Mher Grigoryan about the work of the EEC Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation Unit in the international arena.
