08/29/2025, 11:00The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a program to support ethnic Kyrgyz people arriving from the Lesser and Greater Pamir regions of Afghanistan, as well as kayrilmans, for the period 2026–2029. The document was signed by the head of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
The program aims to provide comprehensive assistance to ethnic Kyrgyz and migrants. Along with it, an action plan, monitoring and evaluation indicators, and a budget for the program's implementation have been approved.
According to the resolution, state and local government bodies will report quarterly on the progress of the action plan to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration. In turn, the ministry will submit a summary report to the Presidential Administration at the end of each half-year.
The resolution will come into force ten days after its signing.
