Farmers of Kyrgyzstan were provided 18.2 billion KGS for renewal of agricultural machinery

In 2024, 4.6 billion soms were provided to farmers on favorable terms, which allowed farmers to purchase 1,193 units of agricultural machinery. In total, this year, 18.2 billion soms were allocated for farmers to purchase 7.1 thousand units of machinery.

Since 2011, the Ministry, with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, has been implementing seven leasing projects. Under these projects, farmers can obtain agricultural machinery and equipment with favorable terms. Banks such as Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank offer loans at 6% per annum for up to 7 years.

These programs are aimed at enabling farmers to upgrade their equipment, which in turn contributes to the improvement of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan.
