A three-day seminar for insemination technicians is being held in the Chui region, during which participants will gain in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Particular attention is being paid to the advantages of artificial insemination, modern methods of animal reproduction, and the basics of selection.
The event is aimed at increasing productivity in the country's agricultural sector and improving the breeding qualities of livestock. The seminar is organized jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), which confirms international support for this area.
A month ago, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, handed over 18 sets of artificial insemination equipment to technicians in the Chui region. A total of 160 such sets were purchased across the country.
Artificial insemination helps improve breed quality, increase productivity, reduce costs, and increase farmers' incomes. In addition, this method helps protect animals from infectious diseases and prevents infertility.
In recent years, livestock farming in Kyrgyzstan has shown steady growth and made a significant contribution to the country's economy.
