On 14 August, in the village of Bostry, on the sidelines of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, around 30 agreements were signed between state-owned and private companies from Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The total value of the agreements amounted to approximately $270 million.
Among the key projects are:
- $55 million — financing the purchase of aircraft for Kyrgyz Airports JSC (RKFR, EDB, Eldik Bank, Kyrgyz Airports JSC);
- $2.8 million – supply of the electric cruise ship Ekovolt for the Blue Issyk-Kul Sanatorium (RKFR, Eldik Leasing LLC, Sanatorium, Reliable Investments JSC);
- $20 million — issuance of securities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund on the Kyrgyz stock market (RKDF, State Financial Supervision Agency, KFB CJSC);
- $10 million — localisation of Lokorobot production (RKFR, State Joint-Stock Company KTZ, Scientific and Production Centre for Industrial Technologies LLC);
- Cooperation agreement on the Growth Platform project (RKDF, OJSC Bakai Bank, LLC RB);
- A number of memoranda in the energy, metallurgy, agriculture, leasing and infrastructure sectors, including projects in renewable energy and the supply of metal products;
- Initiatives in digital technologies, engineering education and media content — creation of design bureaus, joint digital platforms, production of locomotives;
- Investments in production and construction facilities, including a milk processing complex, cosmetics production facilities and the supply of automotive equipment.
The forum was organised by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund with the support of the Roscongress Foundation under the international brand Roscongress International.
According to the organisers, the agreements concluded will create new opportunities for infrastructure modernisation, the implementation of innovative projects and the strengthening of economic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
