    A man suspected of making counterfeit banknotes has been detained in Naryn

    In Naryn, police detained a man who used counterfeit banknotes. This was reported by the press service of the Naryn Region Internal Affairs Department.

    It is reported that on August 11, at around 11:55 a.m., an unknown man, approximately 25-30 years old, entered one of the city's shops. The man bought goods worth 175KGS, paying with a counterfeit 1,000-KGS banknote, and received 825 KGS in change.

    During the investigation, it was established that the detained man is a resident of the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region. In early August, he rented a Subaru Legacy car, in which he placed an Epson printer and used it to make counterfeit money.

    He used the counterfeit banknotes in Jalal-Abad, Balykchy, Sokuluk, and Naryn.
    During his arrest, an Epson printer and 28 finished counterfeit banknotes with a face value of 1,000 KGS were found in the suspect's car.

    A criminal case has been opened on this matter. The man has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the At-Bashinsky District Department of Internal Affairs, and the car has been impounded.
