FCI EABR Awards Winners of 2025 Digital Projects Competition

The Eurasian Development Bank's Digital Initiatives Fund held a teleconference entitled ‘Digital Projects in EAEU Countries: Work, Education, Geotechnologies, Medicine,’ during which it awarded the winners of the FCI's annual Digital Projects Competition.

Deputy Chairman of the EDB Board and FCI Curator Tigran Sargsyan noted the importance of digital transformation for the region's economies and emphasised the bank's role in supporting promising start-ups and initiatives.

‘We see how competition in the field of technology is growing, and today we are honouring the winners in this race for new knowledge and new digital products. Their projects are a real contribution to improving the lives of millions of people in the EAEU,’ he said.

Tigran Sargsyan also noted that, in addition to Kazakhstan and Russia, the FCI is actively developing and supporting projects in Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, and plans to expand its activities in Uzbekistan.

The three winners of the 2025 EDB FCI Digital Projects Competition, selected from more than 80 applications, also presented their developments. The winners were the State University of Education with a project to integrate digital educational tools for teachers and schoolchildren in the union states, The Third Opinion Platform with a project on the use of artificial intelligence to improve the accuracy of medical diagnostics and training of doctors, and the Centre for Spatial Research with the Geointellect geoanalytical platform for business and government.

In a festive atmosphere, Tigran Sargsyan presented the winners with commemorative statuettes.
