    Where to swim in Bishkek: an overview of the capital's swimming pools

    It is already +32 degrees Celsius outside and many Bishkek residents are thinking about where to cool down. Fortunately, the city has a wide range of swimming pools - both indoor pools, which are open all year round, and outdoor pools, which are especially popular in summer. We've put together a list of places where you can swim, play sports or just relax.

    Indoor pools: sport and recovery at any time of the year

    If you prefer swimming regardless of the season, it is worth paying attention to indoor pools. One of the most accessible is “Dolphin” on Molodaya Gvardiya Street. It works from early morning until late evening, offering lanes for both amateurs and athletes.

    Premium fitness clubs such as Dasmia Fitness Family, Maximum and World Class Bishkek also have modern swimming pools. However, they can only be accessed with a club card.

    Outdoor pools and water parks: recreation and entertainment under the open sky

    For those who want to combine water procedures with relaxation in the sun, outdoor pools are the way to go. One of the most famous is the Ala-Too water park, where you can not only swim, but also ride down slides. It works daily until midnight.

    Hill SPA: bath and pool

    If you want to combine bathing with a real spa vacation, you should pay attention to Hill SPA. The complex is located in Besh Kungei district and offers rent of two zones - large and small bath complexes with a swimming pool, hammam, billiards, karaoke and cafe.

    - Large complex (up to 20 people) - 5.5 thousand soms per hour
    - Small complex (up to 15 people) - 5 thousand soms per hour.
    - Minimum order - 3 hours, maximum - 10 hours
