A meeting was held at the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture with specialists from the Engineering Infrastructure Department of the Research Institute for Prospective Urban Development.
During the discussion, important issues were raised concerning the collection of source data for the development of a section on the development of engineering infrastructure in the city's main urban planning document. Representatives of resource supply companies drew attention to the most vulnerable areas of engineering infrastructure that require special attention.
Evgeny Zhuravsky, head of the engineering infrastructure department at the Research Institute for Prospective Urban Development, emphasised the importance of conducting a qualitative analysis of the current state of engineering infrastructure.
According to him, this will make it possible to develop a phased set of measures for the reconstruction of existing facilities and the construction of new engineering infrastructure facilities and networks.
