Bishkek Mayor's Office has announced a call for proposals for the conceptual development of the General Plan of the city until 2050. Applications will be accepted until January 30.

The General Plan will determine the strategy of the city development taking into account its cultural and historical heritage, traditions and modern challenges. The main objective of the concept is to create a sustainable and harmonious urban environment in the conditions of transition to market relations.

“Individuals and legal entities, as well as creative workshops working in the field of architecture, urban planning, urban design or landscape architecture with at least 15 years of experience are invited to participate. Proposals should include an approximate amount of work and be based on modern design methods, taking into account both the historical specifics of the city and the modern needs of residents”, - specify in the mayor's office.

It is noted that the developed concept will be the foundation for further work on the General Plan of Bishkek.
