10/07/2025, 15:12The SCNS of the Kyrgyz Republic has reported the discovery of a corruption scheme at the State Agency for Property Management under the Cabinet of Ministers (SAPM).
According to the special service, employees of the finance and control department drew up fictitious electronic auction protocols for the lease of state property. On the basis of forged documents, large sums were transferred in the form of ‘return of guarantee deposits’ to individuals who did not actually participate in the bidding. Subsequently, the responsible employees appropriated these funds.
As part of the investigation, on 3 October, the chief specialist of the GAUGI finance and accounting department, born in 1996, was detained. She was placed in the temporary detention centre of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation is ongoing, and other persons involved in the corruption scheme are being identified.
