The KRSU will train employees for the State Tax Service

The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by the chairman of the State Tax Service, Almamet Shykmamatov, and the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Sergey Volkov.

The memorandum aims to develop human resources, organise practical training for students, improve the professional qualifications of tax officials, and expand cooperation in the field of scientific and educational projects.

The cooperation provides for joint scientific research, educational programmes, seminars and conferences, as well as the organisation of internships for KSU students in GNS departments.

According to GNS Chairman Almamet Shykmamatov, the signing of the Memorandum will be an important step in strengthening the link between science and practice.

‘Training qualified specialists and introducing modern knowledge into the field of tax administration is one of our priorities. We are interested in ensuring that students can familiarise themselves with the practical aspects of the work of the tax service while still in education,’ said the head of the State Tax Service.

In turn, KRSU Rector Sergey Volkov noted that cooperation with the State Tax Service will allow students to gain valuable professional skills and experience of interacting with government agencies.

‘Our university always strives to provide a high level of practical training. Joint projects with the Tax Service will open up new opportunities for professional development for students,’ said Sergey Volkov.

The signing of the Memorandum laid the foundation for a long-term partnership between KRSU and the State Tax Service aimed at developing education, science and public service.

In addition, following the meeting, tasks were set to explore the possibility of creating an educational platform at KRSU for training and professional development in new areas of taxation within the EAEU.
