In particular, the offences were uncovered in the Leninsky District of the capital. A total of 218 litres of alcoholic beverages, 224 bottles intended for alcoholic beverages, and 557 counterfeit tax stamps were seized.
The case files relating to the identified offences will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities for legal assessment.

The Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic provides for a fine of 50,000 KGS or imprisonment for up to five years for the illegal production of spirits and alcoholic beverages on a particularly large scale.
The Tax Service urges citizens and business owners to prevent the illegal manufacture, storage and sale of excise goods.
