12/22/2025, 17:41According to the results for January–November, the State Tax Service ensured the collection of 19.49 billion KGS in excise tax on goods produced in the country and imported from EAEU member states. This is 3 billion KGS (+17.3%) more than in the same period last year.
The bulk of the revenue came from imports of excisable goods from EAEU countries—14.67 billion KGS. Tobacco products (9.11 billion KGS) and petroleum products (3.67 billion KGS) lead the structure of collections. Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages accounted for 653.7 million and 749.2 million KGS, respectively.
Products manufactured within Kyrgyzstan contributed 4.83 billion KGS to the budget. Of these, 3.45 billion KGS came from alcoholic beverages and 1.3 billion KGS from non-alcoholic beverages. Revenues from petroleum products and tobacco amounted to 70 million and 8.2 million KGS, respectively.
The State Tax Service reminded that mandatory labeling of alcohol and tobacco products has been in effect in the country since July 1, 2021. Over the first 11 months of the year, 223.7 million labeling codes were issued, including 157.2 million for tobacco products and 42.6 million for alcoholic beverages. Light industry goods, footwear, and perfumes were also labeled.
