07/22/2025, 09:09The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has introduced a new electronic service that allows taxpayers to submit applications online for the offset or refund of overpaid or incorrectly paid taxes.
Applications can be submitted via the taxpayer's account on the official website.
The new service allows for the prompt crediting of overpaid taxes, insurance contributions and non-tax payments towards other obligations or their return to the current account.
The personal account provides full control over the application review process, from submission to the final decision of the tax service.
The review period is clearly defined: offsetting takes place within 10 working days, and refunds are returned to the account within 30 calendar days. In the event of errors in the payment order, refunds are made within five working days of the application being registered.
‘The launch of the new service significantly simplifies the procedure for taxpayers, eliminating the need to visit tax authorities and reducing the time spent on paperwork,’ the State Tax Service notes.
