The State Development Bank of Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank discussed the development of sustainable finance

On 15 October, representatives of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Chairman of the Board Emil Takyrbashev, held a working meeting with the World Bank. The parties discussed the implementation of a project to develop the sustainable finance market for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The participants reviewed the current progress of the project, the results achieved and the main issues arising during its implementation.

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing the initiative, exchanging views with the banks participating in the project, and measures to enhance its effectiveness.

Following the meeting, the parties discussed further steps towards developing sustainable finance and strengthening cooperation between the World Bank and the banking sector in Kyrgyzstan.
