State regulation of meat prices extended until the end of 2025

The government has extended the temporary state regulation of meat prices until 31 December 2025 in order to curb price increases.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the extension of the measure is aimed at stabilising the situation on the meat market, in particular beef and lamb (excluding boneless meat).

The decision was made in order to prevent further price increases and speculation and to ensure the availability of this socially important product for the population.

The extension of the regulation will help maintain price stability and protect the interests of citizens amid continuing instability in the food market.
