02/13/2026, 13:16Airports of Kyrgyzstan and the State Insurance Organization have agreed on strategic cooperation in the field of insurance protection for the aviation industry. The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Partnership aimed at improving passenger safety and the sustainability of air transport.
The document was signed by Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzstan Airports, and Eldiyar Kaldarbekov, Chairman of the Board of Gosstrakh.
The agreement provides for the development of cooperation in the field of compulsory and voluntary insurance, including the protection of property, air and ground transport, cargo, carrier liability, as well as the life and health of passengers and personnel. Particular attention is paid to the risks associated with the operation of aviation infrastructure facilities and the provision of transport services.
As part of the partnership, Gosstrakh will participate in the formation of a comprehensive insurance protection system designed to provide additional safety for Kyrgyz citizens during air travel and increase confidence in the national aviation industry.
The parties also intend to develop terms for long-term cooperation and conclude relevant agreements on key areas of cooperation in the near future.
