Strategic water infrastructure facilities returned to the state

Cases of illegal privatisation of water management facilities have been identified in the Chui region. More than 11 hectares of land and service buildings have been returned to the state.

The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reports on established facts of illegal removal of water facilities of strategic importance from state ownership. According to the agency, a number of service buildings with adjacent territories were privatised by private individuals in violation of the law.

As a result of the measures taken, facilities located in the Panfilov district of the Chui region, with a total area of over 11 hectares, have been returned to the state.
