04/10/2025, 12:03According to the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry, as of today 62 thousand 474 hectares of the state forest fund lands have been leased to 23 thousand 803 lessees.
The largest number of lessees is concentrated in Jalal-Abad region, where more than 43 thousand hectares have been leased. The second place is occupied by Issyk-Kul oblast with about 4.5 thousand hectares. The least leased land is in Batken oblast with just over 2 thousand hectares.
At the beginning of 2023, arrears of payment for the use of these lands totalled KGS 5.8 million. During the year, 105.2 million KGS were accrued, of which 92.3 million were collected. Thus, as of 1 January 2024, the arrears decreased to 5.1 million KGS.
The agency warns that in case of violation of lease terms, the contracts will be unilaterally cancelled.
