Cabinet of Ministers Enhances Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs: 100 New Vehicles to Ensure Citizen Safety

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov, handed over 100 new service vehicles to the divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. In a ceremonial event attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers, and media representatives, the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order and ensuring national security. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen the capabilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. "Today we are taking a significant step in bolstering the potential of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. These new vehicles will enable our officers to respond more swiftly to incidents, improve patrol efficiency, and enhance mobility in handling operational and investigative tasks. This will make the work of the Ministry more effective and, most importantly, ensure the safety of our citizens," said Japarov. He added that the newly delivered vehicles are manufactured in the Kyrgyz Republic and are equipped with modern technologies, including communication, navigation, and video recording systems, which will enhance the quality and responsiveness of the Ministry's operations. "We pay great attention to providing comfortable working conditions for our Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel. Since 2021, the ministry's vehicle fleet has been updated by 90%. Additionally, over the past three years, the salaries of the internal affairs officers have doubled, and those serving in the Batken region have seen their salaries increase fourfold. The service uniforms have been updated, and we are working on the implementation of cutting-edge technologies," he stated. The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers also urged Ministry personnel to continually enhance their professionalism and remain committed to the law and principles of justice. "Together, we can ensure peace and order in our country, creating conditions for a safe and stable life for every citizen," concluded Akylbek Japarov.
