During the discussion, it was noted that the government is keeping the situation on the fuel market under constant review. Stock levels and supplies are being monitored in close cooperation with the relevant ministries and representatives of the business community.
The relevant authorities presented updated data on current stocks of petroleum products and the state of the market. It was emphasised that supplies continue to be affected by global geopolitical factors, which are putting pressure on supply chains and pricing.
Particular attention was paid to the diversification of fuel and lubricant imports. According to government data, practical agreements have already been reached on a number of alternative supply routes, which is helping to stabilise the situation and reduce the risk of shortages.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the strategic importance of ensuring an uninterrupted supply of fuel to the country, particularly for the sustainable operation of the transport system and the agricultural sector.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed that daily monitoring of the fuel supply situation be introduced, along with the submission of operational reports. It was also decided to hold such meetings on a weekly basis to enable a prompt response to market changes.
