The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the ‘KEL Start’ national competition for innovative projects and start-ups

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the regulations governing the ‘KEL Start’ national competition for innovative projects and start-ups.

The competition will be held as part of the implementation of the National Development Programme of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, approved by a presidential decree dated 5 June 2025.

The Cabinet of Ministers has also approved the composition of the interdepartmental commission that will select innovative projects and start-ups to participate in the competition.

The costs of organising “KEL Start” will be funded from the special account of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation, within the budget allocated for the relevant year.

Resolution No. 610 was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on 11 September 2026.

The document will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
