How to improve your chances of securing a loan: advice from the Guarantee Fund

A business training session for entrepreneurs and aspiring businesspeople was held in Bishkek, focusing on the opportunities offered by the Guarantee Fund and the selection of a financial intermediary. Participants were informed about available business support tools, lending and financial literacy.

The business training session, entitled ‘The Guarantee Fund – a tool for supporting entrepreneurship. Choosing a financial intermediary’, was organised by JSC ‘Guarantee Fund’ and the Department of Digitalisation and Business Training of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by existing entrepreneurs and citizens who are only planning to start their own business.

Representatives of the Guarantee Fund spoke about the mechanisms for obtaining guarantees, business advisory support and assistance in developing business plans. As the organisers noted, such services are in demand among entrepreneurs and help increase the chances of securing financing.

Participants also received information on the operations of the country’s financial institutions, the specifics of bank lending, criteria for selecting a lending institution, and borrowers’ rights.
