07/08/2025, 14:27On July 8, as part of the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, to the Republic of Tajikistan, a ceremony was held to sign and exchange bilateral documents covering key areas of interstate cooperation. The agreements were signed by Presidents Sadyr Zhaparov and Emomali Rahmon, as well as members of the governments of the two countries.

The parties approved a separate item on the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026–2027, the Action Plan in Industry and Technology for 2025–2026, and the Agreement on the Establishment of a Business Council between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, which will open new mechanisms for business contacts and the development of trade and economic ties. The signing of these documents underscores the readiness of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to engage in sustainable dialogue and strengthen good-neighborly relations.
