Kamchybek Tashiev commented on the situation with power cuts in schools

Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev commented on the situation with power cuts in schools after lessons.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced restrictions for state and administrative buildings — after 6 p.m., they are not allowed to use outdoor lighting. The Ministry of Education also stated that schools are switching to energy-saving mode and within one hour after the last lesson, the lights in the building must be turned off, i.e. after 6 p.m.

«This is wrong. Even if you turn off the lights in all buildings, don't do it in schools until at least 7 p.m. Children need to be able to leave the school calmly, and parents need to have time to meet or pick them up», — he said.
