According to Binance Research, bStocks accounted for about a quarter of the tokenized stock market in October. The product was launched in June 2026 with five instruments, and by October, that number had approached 100.
Tokenized stocks are digital instruments whose value is linked to company stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETFs). They are issued using blockchain technology and can be traded 24/7 on certain platforms, including on weekends.
According to a Binance Research study, only 42% of bStocks trading volume occurred during regular U.S. stock market hours. The remaining 58% of trades took place before the market opened, after it closed, at night, and on weekends.
However, tokenized stocks do not always confer direct ownership rights to the underlying securities. Investors’ rights depend on the terms of the specific product and applicable laws.
According to Binance Research estimates, in October 2026, tokenized stocks accounted for approximately 0.0025% of the global stock market. By 2030, the segment’s volume could potentially reach $349 billion.
