This exceeds the figures for Armenia ($1.2 million), Belarus ($800,000), and even the Kazakh stock exchange AIX ($37.6 million).
Nevertheless, compared to the same period last year, the volume decreased almost threefold — from $286.3 million in the first quarter of 2024 to $104.9 million in 2025. It should be noted, however, that for 2025, data for Kyrgyzstan is only available for two months (January-February).
In other areas of the stock market, the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange lags behind its neighbors. For example, the corporate debt securities market is $150.5 million on the KSE, compared to $1.2 billion on the KASE, and government bonds are only $13.9 million, compared to $4.3 billion on the Kazakh KASE and $183.5 million on the Belarusian BCSE.
