Kyrgyzstan is betting on service exports: franchising will receive new support

The Kyrgyz Franchise Association and the state agency Kyrgyz Export have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing service exports.

The document provides for a whole range of measures to support and train entrepreneurs working under the franchising model. The focus is on strengthening the position of local companies abroad and increasing their competitiveness.

According to the participants in the agreement, franchising in Kyrgyzstan is showing steady growth, and access to modern practices, technologies, and institutional support is necessary to reach the international level. The agreement with Kyrgyz Export should become a bridge to foreign markets for entrepreneurs, providing support in certification, marketing, and legal issues.

The program will be financed by both international organizations and private investors. This underscores the importance of franchising as a tool for sustainable economic growth.

The Association notes that the export of services is one of the promising areas for the Kyrgyz economy. And the potential here is far from exhausted. The signed agreement could set a precedent for building new formats of public-private partnerships in the field of export support.

It is expected that the launch of the initiatives will lead to an increase in the number of export-oriented franchises and the creation of new jobs, as well as strengthen the international recognition of Kyrgyz brands.
