    Kyrgyzstan and France aim to strengthen economic partnership

    Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev met with French Minister of Foreign Trade Laurent Saint-Martin in Paris. The parties discussed ways to expand trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, prospects for joint projects, and attracting investment.

    The talks focused on increasing mutual trade, developing long-term partnerships, and intensifying dialogue between business communities. The parties also discussed opportunities for launching technological initiatives and creating a favorable environment for investors.

    The Kyrgyz side confirmed its interest in strengthening economic ties with France and stressed the importance of direct interaction between the public and private sectors.

    In the coming days, Laurent Saint-Martin will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, where he will take part in the Kyrgyz-French Business Forum and hold meetings with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers.

    The French minister expressed his readiness to promote the development of partnership relations, noting Kyrgyzstan's potential as a reliable economic partner in Central Asia.
