The Memorandum on Cooperation in the Development of Halal Industry between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia was signed in Kuala Lumpur on 5 November 2024. Signing took place with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Malaysia.

The document provides for joint work in different areas: exchange of knowledge about the halal ecosystem, events and training, and assistance to enter the markets of halal products and services in both countries.

Kyrgyz Ambassador to Malaysia Anvar Anarbayev and Chairman of the Halal Development Corporation Kairul Azwan Harun attended the signing ceremony.
