Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia sign memorandum of cooperation in tourism

During Sadyr Zhaparov's official visit to Malaysia, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov signed a memorandum of understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Malaysia on cooperation in the field of tourism.

This document confirms the desire of the two countries to expand and improve bilateral relations in the field of tourism based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and mutual benefit.

Particular attention is paid to establishing strong and long-term cooperation between state tourism authorities, national, regional and other tourism organisations in Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia.

Within the framework of the memorandum, it is envisaged to develop and strengthen economic ties in the field of tourism, create favourable conditions for the implementation of joint initiatives, exchange experience and information, and promote tourism products.
