    Kyrgyzstan and Japan strengthen cooperation in the field of labour migration

    On 20 January, Minister of Labour Ravshanbek Sabirov met with Executive Chairman of the Japanese Public Foundation Kanamori Hitoshi and Rector of the Kyrgyz State University Aigkl Abdraeva. During the meeting, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed aimed at training specialists to work in Japan.

    The memorandum implies training qualified personnel to meet the growing demand for labour in Japan and providing employment opportunities for Kyrgyz citizens.

    The Minister emphasised the importance of this cooperation for professional training and integration of Kyrgyz citizens into the international community. Kanamori Hitoshi noted that Japan supports the development of human capital and cultural ties with Kyrgyzstan. Rector of KSU Aigul Abdraeva confirmed the university's readiness to undertake the training of specialists.

    The signing of the memorandum opens new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the field of education and labour migration, strengthening ties between the two countries.
