Kyrgyzstan has signed a memorandum with the International Motorboat Union

The Ministry of Economy and the International Motorboat Union (UIM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document aims to develop cooperation in the field of motorboat racing, event tourism and international sporting events.

The parties intend to explore the possibility of holding international powerboat racing competitions in Kyrgyzstan, including a round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship. The memorandum also supports the initiative to establish a national powerboat racing federation.

Particular attention is paid to Lake Issyk-Kul, whose natural and climatic conditions provide a favourable venue for hosting high-level competitions.

The signing of the memorandum is seen as a significant step towards strengthening international cooperation and promoting Kyrgyzstan as a promising venue for major sporting and tourism events.
