Kyrgyzstan Calls Developing Landlocked Countries to Digital Integration in Global Trade

At the WTO, developing landlocked member countries have formed a joint working programme. Together, they have decided to promote their interests in the global trade arena. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to simplify trade and implement digital solutions so that documents, customs and payments could be processed through electronic systems.

Nurbek Maksutov, head of the #MECCR representative office on WTO issues, also spoke at the meeting.

In his speech, he reminded that without the necessary transit corridors and digital communications, it will be difficult for developing countries to compete. Therefore, it is necessary to establish routes and electronic data exchange, which will save time and money.
