10/14/2025, 11:25Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan increased significantly in 2024. According to the National Statistics Committee, exports of Kyrgyz goods to Azerbaijan doubled from $3.8 million to $8.07 million. This was the highest figure in the last five years.
The bulk of exports from Kyrgyzstan consisted of vegetables and fruits, including citrus fruits, melons and nuts, as well as oilseeds, vegetable oils, plants and flowers. In addition, machinery, equipment and spare parts, as well as pharmaceutical products, were exported to Azerbaijan.
At the same time, imports from Azerbaijan decreased by 1.6 times, from $4.5 million to $2.8 million. The main categories of imported goods were animal and vegetable fats and oils, sugar and confectionery, as well as plastics and plastic products.
Compared to 2021, when exports amounted to $4.2 million, Kyrgyzstan has managed to almost double its sales to Azerbaijan in three years.
