Kyrgyzstan has made it into the top 5 fastest-growing economies in the world

Kyrgyzstan ranked fifth in the global ranking of countries by economic growth rates in 2026. This was reported by Temir Sariev, president of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, citing the International Monetary Fund’s October forecast.

According to the IMF’s forecast, global economic growth will reach 3.1% by the end of 2026. In October, the fund revised its estimate upward by 0.1 percentage points compared to the July forecast.

Guyana topped the ranking, with real GDP growth expected to reach 22.3%. This is primarily due to the development of the oil sector. In second place is Taiwan, with projected growth of 10.7%, driven by advances in artificial intelligence and high demand for technology.

Other fast-growing economies include South Sudan, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
