The project aims to develop the country's agro-industrial potential and attract modern technologies to agriculture. The total amount of declared investments is $24 million.
Two key agreements were signed during the event. The first, with South Korean company DOD Company, provides for $12 million in investment for projects in the livestock and agrologistics sectors. The second agreement was signed with Asyl Teri and concerns the creation of a leather processing plant with a design capacity of 24 tons of raw materials per day, focused on both domestic processing and export.
The creation of an agro-industrial zone is seen as part of the government's policy to strengthen food security, increase the added value of agricultural products, and stimulate private investment in the industry. The project also creates the conditions for the development of processing, logistics, and exports, which, according to the relevant ministry, will have a long-term impact on the economy of the region and the country as a whole.
