07/08/2025, 10:35On June 30, 2025, the second phase of the experiment on the new entry procedure to the Russian Federation began. All foreigners, including citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, must register in the RuID mobile app no later than 72 hours before crossing the border.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It requires you to specify your travel route, purpose of visit, regions to be visited, and upload biometric data — a photo, passport, and voice recording. If you are traveling with children, you must also enter their details. Once you have filled in the details, the system will check for any restrictions and issue an entry permit.
Registration is required to create a digital profile, obtain a SNILS, DMS, and purchase a SIM card in Russia. In urgent cases (illness, treatment, death of a relative), you can submit an application 4 hours before entry. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan are advised to familiarize themselves with the rules in advance to avoid being denied entry and, if necessary, contact the hotlines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Employment Center.
