    In June, Kyrgyz citizens borrowed 7.8 billion KGS against their apartments as collateral

    In June 2025, Kyrgyz citizens concluded 1,613 apartment mortgage deals, totalling 7 billion 772.9 million KGS. These data were published by the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy and Cartography.

    The largest number of transactions was carried out in the capital. Residents of Bishkek concluded 766 mortgage deals for apartments, receiving 5 billion 532.7 million KGS for them. In second place were residents of the city of Osh with 276 transactions worth 884.96 million KGS, and in third place was the Chui region, where 212 transactions were concluded worth 487.2 million KGS.

    It is worth noting that in June, Kyrgyz citizens used residential houses as collateral more often than apartments. In total, 4,239 transactions were concluded with residential houses for a total amount of 12 billion 183.3 million KGS. The leaders in terms of the number of transactions with houses were residents of the Jalal-Abad region, where 869 transactions were concluded for 1 billion 487.1 million KGS. In second place was the Osh region with 698 transactions worth 1 billion 293.2 million KGS.

    Despite the relatively low number of residential property transactions (429), Bishkek leads in terms of the total amount of funds received, with over 3 billion KGS. Interestingly, only 390 residential property transactions were concluded in the Batken region, but the total amount exceeded 2.3 billion KGS.
