09/17/2026, 11:17The Bishkek Bureau of Binary Bandits team, or B4, has taken 17th place in the CTFtime global rankings. This is a ranking of teams that take part in cybersecurity competitions. B4 also came first amongst teams from Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
As of 16 September, the team had scored 562,664 points.
A CTF is a competition in which participants search for vulnerabilities in websites, programmes and computer systems. They also decrypt data, analyse code and solve other tasks related to information security. The acronym CTF stands for ‘Capture The Flag’.
In 2026, B4 achieved outstanding results at several international competitions. The team secured:
At the OmniCTF 2026 Quals, the team scored 2,809 points and came first out of nearly 800 teams. As a result, B4 qualified for the in-person final of OmniCTF 2026, which will take place on 19 September in Constanța, Romania. Twelve teams will compete in the final.
B4 is part of the Blueberry cybersecurity community in Bishkek. The team members regularly compete against other specialists from various countries, analyse the vulnerabilities they discover and hone their skills.
B4 is currently the only team from Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia to feature in the top twenty of the CTFtime world rankings.
