Kyrgyz banks bought $13.5 million at currency auctions

On 17 September, commercial banks purchased $13.5 million on the interbank market, according to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.

The share of transactions with settlements on the day of conclusion amounted to $10.5 million, and with settlements on another date — $3 million.

Trading took place at a stable exchange rate, with the US dollar opening and closing at 87.45 KGS.
